Syn Free Potato Waffles
Again this is a recipe to fuel my desire for carbs with breakfast that are syn free. With my waffle maker makes massive waffles and I am stuffed with one of these on my plate.
The good thing also is add in other ingredients to boost the speed (SW term) or just to boost the taste. Today for instance I made cheese and spring onion waffles.
For these I used these ingredients:
Half a tub of smash (instant mash)
2 spring onions
Cheese (healthy extra A allowance)
Salt & pepper to taste
Mix the smash with some hot water to make up the mash. Add in 2 eggs and mix it up. Finely chop the spring onion and add to the mash with the cheese and salt & pepper. Spray the waffle maker with frylite and add some of the mixture to the waffle maker….
Leave to cook for 10 minutes or until crispy. Good with breakfast or dinner.
