Pink Tuna Pasta Salad

This is a family recipe that we have had since we where we so it’s only in recent years that I realised that the  pink pasta is off putting to other people because of the colour. Don’t let the colour put you off it is a quick tasty recipe packed with speed veg. 

Ingredients:

500G pasta

Tuna (1 tin)

350g jar sliced pickled beetroot

Whole cucumber 

6 x tomatoes

1 onion

Sweetcorn (1 tin)

10 x tbl spn lighter than light mayonnaise 

Method:

Boil the pasta, whilst this is boiling chop all the veg (except sweetcorn obv.) then simply put all veg, tuna and mayonnaise in pasta. Mix it all together and Hey presto a quick, simple, tasty, low low syn meal….. 

(it’s 1/2 syn per tbl spn of lighter than light mayonnaise, so its 5 syns for the whole pot of  pasta)
